Newly Designed Indigo Dyed Key Case Now Onstage!

The special feature of these new items is the SHAPE.

This design is done by the two buttons tacking down the leather.

These buttons create spaces inside the case, allowing the key to be fit easily.

Leather crafts of Uzu are made from carefully selected cowhide.

We use tanned leather called Tanro(japanese word), which is tanned by tannin, not chemicals.
Tanro is “leather for tannin dressed batik” for short.

It is leather made easy to dye by removing the oil content.

It is costly, but perfect for indigo dyeing.

After dyeing the cowhide which is delicate to water,
we wipe and then dry the leather in shade.

Indigo dyed leather made with so much care for it not to crinkle up.

We have developed a recipe of creating the material
and design with HIEJIMA leather scrupulously.
